Equita Strengthens Sales Team With New Appointments

Equita are delighted to announce the recent appointments of two new Business Development Directors to strengthen the exisiting sales team.

James Connolly (left ) and Peter Gent (right) between them bring over 50 years of debt recovery expertise which will enable Equita to continue to grow our client base in both the public and private sectors.

James has worked for British Gas for the majority of his working life mainly in the metering and debt collection space. For the last 3 years he was responsible for the commercial strategy of all debt supply chain which included services such as debt voice, data provision, legal services and live and final collections. This role provided him with a real understanding of the end to end collections process and what utilities companies expect from 3rd party suppliers.

Peter has over 26 years Credit Management experience and for the past 11 years has worked for a number of leading debt recovery companies in both the B2B and B2C environment.He has spent 5 years with Credit Resource Solution, a specialist consumer debt recovery agency, of which 3 of those years was as a Board Director and a year with Lawton Hathaway, a credit control outsourcing business, managing both operations and sales. Peter is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management and is Chair of the North West branch.
